Well as you must know the Nintendo DS is a huge success all around the world, outselling the PSP by a great margin. But did you also know that thanks to the introduction of the Double Screem system from Nintendo, the market is expanding just like Nintendo planned?
As both an entertainment and a business, Nintendo DS today is the powerhouse of the U.S. video game industry, driving nearly all industry revenue growth so far this year. Without this portable system, the video game industry growth overall would be nearly flat when compared with 2005.

The Videogame Industry is growing thanks to Nintendo with it’s success with the Nintendo DS and their “Touch! Generation” label games. Games for everyone, from small kids to grandparents, everybody has a game for their taste.
The Industry has seen a 203% growth from January 2006 – September 2006, in just one year the industry has grown more than double.
Could this be a sign of the Wii will be doing in the coming years? It certainly seems so.
